All Phase Royal Impact Stile & Rail Engineered Coastal Wood Door Systems
Our custom stile and rail engineered wood doors are available with either raised or flat panels, meticulously crafted using precision joinery and hand-selected wood to ensure architectural-grade quality, perfect for even the most discerning homes. Each door is custom-made, allowing us to accommodate special thicknesses, widths, and heights with ease. Customers can choose from slab-only doors or pre-hung options, complete with matching, custom-milled solid wood jambs—either flat or rabbeted—sized to order. Additionally, we offer machining for any standard or specialty hardware, tailored to your specifications.
For our impact-resistant hurricane doors, we use only the finest FSC-certified hardwoods harvested from sustainable forests. Our primary choice is Eucalyptus, a hybrid subspecies of genuine Mahogany. Known for its exceptional durability and stability, Eucalyptus—also referred to as Red Grandis—is highly desirable for exterior applications. In addition to Eucalyptus, we offer Sapele Mahogany, an exotic hardwood, and domestically grown Northern White Oak for our exterior doors, chosen for both their ideal properties and their excellent performance in outdoor environments.
Our engineered manufacturing process is designed to ensure the stability of the stile and rail components in both our exterior impact and interior doors. This involves laminating select solid wood veneers and edges to the surface and sides of a stave wood core. The core wood used in the construction of our interior stiles and rails is Eastern White Pine wood strips dried to 6-8% moisture content. These Pine blanks are finger jointed and laminated to produce a strong, solid, extremely stable stave core. The stile’s stability is significantly increased with individual offset pieces joined as a unit in the core assembly. For our exterior stile and rail core we edge glue and assemble by lamination LVL plywood strips. Both core materials are engineered to produce a flat stable panel that we then cut to width and use in the construction of our doors stile and rail system as you can see ilustrated in the photos shown below.
